Hi all,

I'll be on duty in Whittlesey tonight.  Interestingly we have a member of the town council out with us tonight who wants to know more about what we do.  Hopefully we'll have a busy night so he gets to see the issues we're trying to address.

Probably like many towns we have quite a few young people with very little to do in the evening and get together on the Market Square which can be a little intimidating for people particularly if they have been drinking (the youths not necessarily passers by). Problems with drunken people smashing things up and boy racers roaring around the town.....

If anything interesting happens I'll update this entry.  In the meantime I'm preparing a little blog entry on J2ME dates and writing calendar entries for the BB which I'll publish by Monday.
