As per the last update there were some changes I was proposing to make.  Due to time pressure I've decided to drop certain items in favour of others as follows (mostly dropping functions to make it look prettier):

• New! About screen no longer opens on startup (was that driving you mad too)?
• New! About screen et al now produces a context menu so you can use the url's!
• New! Better Application Icon (freeware from IconArchive.com)
• New! Using Show All button resets the Category and Type fields to All
• New! Graphical Menu System which gives you access to each of the screens with one trackwheel click per screen
  
• New! Update status message is a blinking clock (wow ) and text message
  

• Out! Search options on venue screen (type of venue, budget, location)
• Out! A rate craicBerry form (results submitted by email)
• Out! Maybe a couple of changes to layout to show more information

• Fixed! A tiny bug fix (where a menu is carried over between screens)
  

• Today! I have to rework the Domino side of the Flashmob system
  
• Soon! Get you the source code

As I type all of the items in the top list have been coded and pretty much tested as version 1.2.8.  You can download it from the usual URL via your BlackBerry browser.

Apologies if you tried to submit an event or venue using Firefox recently and couldn't.  I made a tiny faux pas in the form validation script which IE was able to forgive but not so Firefox.  The mistake was something like this:

var frm = document.forms(0) vs var frm = document.forms[0]

I've tested again and it seems to be working again now.  Anyway here are some pictures of the new look craicBerry:
